Drivers

I new to my state and just received a new drivers license, turning in my old one. I am going to get insurance in my new state and would like to receive a good driver discount. I do not know my old drivers license numbers…I have lived in 3 states over 5 years. Will they be able to see my full driving record with my new license number or do I need to request an abstract from the prior two states?

The desktops are 98 and the laptop is ME. I’ve identified the sound card, downloaded the appropriate driver and istalled it. The problem? While the computers think everything is OK, all 3 do not produce sound. If it were one, I’d call it a bad sound card, but not all three. When I look on my XP computer, there is a whole bunch of items in addition to the sound card driver listed under sound devices in the device manager. Are there other software drivers that need to be installed in addition to the actual sound card driver?
I appreciate your answers so far, but they aren’t getting it. VOlume control will not open, but it shows the device working properly in device manager. I found out what sound card I had by taking it out an looking at it. The sound worked before I had to switch harddrives out. The restore CDs won’t work because of the changed parts I’m assuming. Any other suggestions?

I love computers and I know how to get drivers from them but my question is this. If malware is infected the whole pc so you can not use it and you have to reformat how do you get all the drivers back? With no disk for the computer or anything???? Or say the hard drive crashes and you need a new harddrive how do you get all the drivers back? Just wondering.

I know company’s put pressure on drivers in different ways to get them to lie on there log books in order get more hour out of the driver. Thus getting the driver to drive unsafe putting lives at risk. “WHAT CAN WE DO”.
